Community Involvement

Wherever possible Conlon Construction strives to ensure the local community can benefit from our activities.

Examples of recent initiatives include:

  • All sites are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme
 
  • Direct involvement with schools through the CITB Curriculum Centre Initiative. This scheme promotes the involvement of youngsters in the construction process with the intention of encouraging future entrants into the industry;
 
  • A direct good neighbour policy to address the unnecessary vandalism that can often affect construction activities;
 
  • Consultation with neighbours to promote health and safety around construction sites, particularly where children are involved;
 
  • Sponsorship of a local running club.
 

We are always willing to discuss with clients the benefits of community involvement and we welcome opportunities to promote initiatives where possible.
