On 30th September our team took part in the Annual Dragon Bay Competition held at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, Windermere to help raise funds for our partnering charity this year nwcsg.co.uk. We were crowned Champions on the day coming away with the fastest dragon boat time, winners in the tug of war and dragon boat race and overall Champions! Not a bad afternoons work despite the wet weather!
The North West Children’s Support Group is a Lancashire based voluntary organisation which provides holidays and social events for children with disabilities or additional needs from our region who need the opportunity to share experiences on a social level, have parents who need respite from their full time care or would not otherwise have a holiday. The holidays are tremendous fun and have a great energy. We believe they give a real life enhancing benefit to both children and carers.
