Gold at the 2014 Considerate Constructors Scheme National Awards

March 28, 2014 - News

For the fifth year running, we have been recognized as one of the most considerate building contractors in the country, and we are delighted to announce that two of our projects have won National Awards in the Considerate Constructors Awards 2014.

At a ceremony held on 26th March 2014, Sika Liquid Plastics, in Preston, was awarded with the Bronze accolade, and our project St Philips Primary School in Atherton was presented with the prestigious Gold award, for showing the highest levels of consideration towards the general public, the workforce and the environment through adhering to the Scheme’s five-point code of considerate practice.

Our involvement with St. Philips Primary School involved curricular and seasonal event support, including the provision of a solar-powered insect study shelter, the donation of children’s gardening tools, and the creation of a bug-house.

We are fully committed to the Considerate Constructors Scheme, improving the image of the construction industry and showing consideration to the general public as well as improving the working environment for our site staff and the staff of our sub-contractors, securing the safety of everybody involved and caring for the environment.
