On Saturday 21st September we held a Prostate Cancer Screening Event at Manchester Central Library in association with our charity of the year The Walnut Group, Preston.
Of the 119 people who attended, there were 106 Green, 7 Amber and 6 Red Letters issued. Amber and Red Letters advise men to make an appointment with their GP for further investigation.
Neil Conlon said:
We have now tested over a 1,000 men and have generated 43 Red Letters and are aware of at least 2 gentlemen who have had the ‘All Clear’ following chemo and radiotherapy. We would like to thank the Walnut Group volunteers for all their hard work and effort in making this happen.
