National Constructing Excellence Awards 2009

Following the company's success at the NW Regional Awards in May, Conlon was awarded the "Leadership and People Development Award" at the National Constructing Excellence awards ceremony held at Lords Cricket Ground on 19th November 2009.

The company faced tough competition against a shortlist of eight other regional winners, some of which were national contractors.  "The judges were looking for improvements resulting from leadership, training interventions, or an enlightened client. Entries showed respect to the workforce and local communities, while simultaneously winning respect from them through workforce development, skills and training, benchmarking, equality and diversity, health & safety and working environment."
